Message-Id: <002001c3cf9b$44db5050$255a2093@aspirant> List-Id: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit To: linux-hotplug@vger.kernel.org What is the planed final version number? When udev was 0.1 then I would expect that 1.0 will be the final (100% working) version. But now the current version is 011, does this mean that the 100% working version will be numbered 999 or 1000? :-) I tried udev 010 and it seems to me that _a lot of_ devices are _not_ created by udev. I don't remember which ones, but I think it was ps/2 mouse (/dev/psaux) or serial modem (/dev/ttyS0) or something like this. Will this change in future releases?
