Hello everyone,
I am running 2.6.3-r2 with an external ieee1394 cdrom drive, and I am
having a great deal of difficulty getting the appropriate /dev/sg entry
to appear. I searched through the udev archives, and all I could find
related to udev and generic scsi devices was in the udev 0.13 release
thread, which said that, at that point, it was not possible to set up
the appropriate dev entries. Is that still the case? If not, how can I
set up the /dev/sg entries so I can use grip (and cdparanoia) again? If
not, what needs to change and how can I (a intermediate level
programmer) help?
Thanks in advance,
Peter Snyder
