hi list,

on my last kernel upgrade (2.6.11-rc3-ck1) i switched to udev. it works well
with my removeable storage devices. the problem: when plugging in another usb
or ieee1394 device, my wlan-usb-stick (D-Link DWL-122) gets disconnected. i
have to re-plug it to get it working again. the logs just give my the
symptoms, but no reasons for this behaviour:

-----
$dmesg
[..]
NETDEV WATCHDOG: wlan0: transmit timed out
wlan0 rx pipe reset complete.
wlan0 tx pipe reset complete.
[..]
-----

sysfs didn't show those problems. any ideas what the reason might be, how to
track it down or how to fix it?

system:
debian-sid, 2.6.11-rc3-ck1, dbus 0.051

please cc me on reply for i'm not subscribed to the list.

thanks,
sven

You may better ask the author of the driver. This does not sound like a
hotplug problem.

Thanks,
Kay

well, i tried with ndiswrapper and linux-wlan-ng, both showing the same
symptoms.
