hello,

i think i found a bug. i've written a bash script which should be
executed upton plugin in my digital camera on a usb port. the thing is
that it simply DOESN'T work CORRECTLY if it is automatically executed
from /etc/dev.d/foo/foo.dev upon plugin in my device. it WORKS if i
execute the script directly. the strange thing is that it IS being
executed, but not the hole script.
first i thought i couldn't use functions in /etc/dev.d/foo but it didn't
change a thing.
is there a limit of instructions? i tried to just add a line which
executes the script on another location, still no go.

ANY ideas?

regards
blinkeye

Yeah, read the udev man page. :)
And place your script in /etc/dev.d/default/
