I know my modified net.agent script works. This is a prism54 based
wireless card.

If I take the pcmcia card in/out while the pc is on, it will start/stop
the interface. But if I bootup, the interface doesn't come up via the
hotplug/udevsend event.

The error I get is it cannot find firmware, any suggestions?

Is your firmware image reachable at bootup while the system initializes
the card?

What does:
  grep ^FIRMWARE_DIR /etc/hotplug/firmware.agent
print?

Is the driver for the card a module or compiled-in?

Kay

It's set to /lib/firmware, it's a module
