Hello,
I am using a USB board for video capturing, on a linux box (Fedora, 2.6.10).
I ran into some issues.
And, in /var/log/messages I got the following.
*****************************************************************
Mar 29 19:01:24 FedoraTest wait_for_sysfs[1941]: either wait_for_sysfs (udev
039) needs an update to handle the device '/class/sound' properly (class
specificfile unavailable) or the sysfs-support of your device's driver needs
to be fixed, please report to <linux-hotplug-devel@lists.sourceforge.net>
Mar 29 19:01:24 FedoraTest wait_for_sysfs[2022]: either wait_for_sysfs (udev
039) needs an update to handle the device '/class/video4linux' properly
(class specific file unavailable) or the sysfs-support of your device's
driver needs to be fixed, please report to
linux-hotplug-devel@lists.sourceforge.net
******************************************************************
And, the actual firmware for this device never gets loaded at all.
I appreciate if somebody can give me some information.
Thanks.

Good luck,

Thanks.
What I thought was, since the message says report to this list, I thought
the problem (at least the range) must be well known among the developers. I
am very new to this and this is my first project in this field. I was hoping
that someone who has worked in this field for long, would point them to me.
And, then I would try to find a solution to it.
Again, thanks for taking time to post your suggestion.
