I caught this message in my logs. 

Apr 13 12:28:35 localhost wait_for_sysfs[4751]: either wait_for_sysfs
(udev 039) needs an update to handle the device
'/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1e.0/0000:02:00.0/0.0' properly (unknown
bus) or the sysfs-support of your device's driver needs to be fixed,
please report to <linux-hotplug-devel@lists.sourceforge.net>

If you need any more info, just ask. 

Its a scsi hdd attached to a pcmcia adaptec 1460 card

Just update your systems udev package and this message will go away.
Btw: It not fix anything, just switches off the meassage. Newer kernels
have a better sysfs-integration and the real reason for this error may
be solved there.
