Instead if seems that to communicate these devices you need to use libusb, which uses a file under /proc/bus/usb/devices/NNN/NNN -- rather than any sensible node under /dev. The lack of any node under /dev also seems to mean that there isn't any sysfs support for these devices. What's the long-term plan for things like this?
