From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Adrian McMenamin Date: Sun, 22 Jan 2006 23:31:04 +0000 Subject: Odd behaviour with pthreads? Message-Id: <1137972664.9460.47.camel@localhost.localdomain> List-Id: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit To: linux-hotplug@vger.kernel.org I changed my build of Busybox/uClibc on my Dreamcast to use pthreads - needed for the alsa utilities - and now the alsa utilities work: / # aplay --version aplay: version 1.0.9a by Jaroslav Kysela But not much else does. The box boots but does not mount sys and commands fail in odd ways eg /etc # ls -l ls: -l: No such file or directory (ie it is trying to find the file -l) I cannot get syslogd to run: Jan 23 00:36:01 -F daemon.info init: Process '/sbin/syslogd -n -m 0' (pid 1350) exited. Scheduling it for restart. Jan 23 00:36:01 -F daemon.info init: Starting pid 1352, console /dev/null: '/sbin/syslogd' (over and over) udev appears to have failed (only static device nodes exist) and dynamic firmware loading is also failing. Any idea as to what is wrong? Thanks Adrian ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. Do you grep through log files for problems? Stop!
