Hi,
I allow me to contact you because I've a strange problem with my
hardware!
I'm trying to use a compact flash card with a pcmcia SanDisk Ultra.
The pcmcia is rightly detected but I don't have any new entry in /dev
or /sys.
# cardctl status
Socket 0:
3.3V 16-bit PC Card
function 0: [ready]
Socket 1:
no card
Here is my kernel 2.6.5 config for pcmcia:
Bus option (PCI, PCMCIA, EISA, MCA, ISA) >
PCMCIA/CardBus support [y]
CardBus yenta-compatible bridge support [y]
Device Drivers > ATA/ATAPIMFM/RLL support >
PCMCIA IDE support [y]
I really don't understand why no new entry is created because all
other hardware work fine (firewire, usb, etc.)!
Many thanks for your help
Pascal
