It's available in the environment. PROGRAM="/bin/sh -c set>/tmp/set" shows:

  ACTION­d
  DEVPATH=/class/video4linux/video0
  DIRSTACK=()
  EUID=0
  GROUPS=()
  HOME=/
  ...
