Hi !

I've found in the archives the Wout Mertens interesting script for
automounting device.
I am under Mandrake 9.2.

Wout indicates that the script should be in /etc/hotplug.d/block directory.

But on my Mandrake there isn't that directory.
So where should i make it ?

Thanks,

Franck

Oops, missed this mail :)

You're using Linux 2.4, right? See the 2.4 script under
http://dev.gentoo.org/~wmertens/

If you're not, try upgrading hotplug.

Actually, I thought mandrake already did the automounting by using
devlabel. This adds the drive to /etc/fstab with the "user" option, so
that you can mount it yourself... And if you use KDE or Gnome, I thought
they had stuff that adds icons on your desktop.

I could be wrong though :)

Wout.

Create it yourself :)

The latest hotplug scripts will see that your file is there and call it.

Good luck,
