I don't think these systems are so pathological... I agree that the dbus
and glib libraries could be moved, but I feel it would be premature to
do it now while D-BUS is not being used by many programs (and by no
program which has to be executed before /usr is available).

The other major problem is that, at least with older udev releases,
enabling D-BUS support would introduce a very long delay at boot while
udevd was waiting for all udev childs to exit.
