Hi,

for some version of udev or hotplug the console is overfloaded during
system boot by printout fo environmental variables. I suppose the the
line
env | egrep -v '^PATH=|^PWD=|^_=|^OLDPWD=|^SHLVL=|^HOME='

in the log_to_stdout function in hotplug.functions and my setting of
DEBUG=yes in many scripts is responsible for this disturbing output. Any
hint, what is the best way to avoid this output?

	Juergen

Turn DEBUG off. You turned it on, so you are getting all of that info.
Why complain? :)

thanks,
