Hi,all,

Is there anybody who uses gcov to total the test suite's coverage for udev's program. I did a simply statistic for our test suite, see the following:
===============================
Program Name |  Line Coverage(%) | Branch Executed Coverage(%)
===============================
 udev.c 	          91.53             88.24
 udevd.c           90.09             90.48
 udevsend.c        89.02             90
 udevstart.c       93.18             100
 udevtest.c        96.97             100
 udevinfo.c        11.84             11.22
 udev_lib.c        61.76             60.87
 udev-add.c        65.92             58.7
 udev-remove.c     47.22             36.36
 udev_config.c     90.1              86.84
 udevdb.c          43.82             31.03
 namedev.c         61.21             54.68
 namedev_parse.c   78.67             69.88
==============================

Dose this job make sense to our udev development and validation?

Best Regards,

Yin Hu ( Nick )

I have seen Leann Ogasawara <ogasawara@osdl.org> has done some gcov work.

Is there still anything we can do for udev using gcov? Hehe!

Thanks!
