My question is how does grouping all of the hotplug issues into one
place help? I see hotplug CPU, hotplug PCI and hotplug memory as
all being very different things, each with a unique set of problems.
Also, hotplug PCI and hotplug CPU are here and working now, with only
refinements, bugfixing and so on to do. As far as I'm aware, hotplug
memory still needs a lot of work.
So I really don't see the need for a Hotplug SIG -- there's lots of work
going on independently that can go on independently and we really don't
need to talk to each other very much.
