Message-ID: <20041020233530.GA4797@columbus.rr.com> (raw)
I get a persistent error message on booting my 2.6.8 kernel.
/var/log/syslog reads, in part:
Oct 20 19:21:15 localhost kernel: IPv6 over IPv4 tunneling driver
Oct 20 19:21:15 localhost ifd[3413]: starting
Oct 20 19:21:15 localhost ifd[3413]: executing: '/usr/share/laptop-net/link-change eth1 unmanaged unknown up,running,connected'
Oct 20 19:21:15 localhost ifd: PID file written: /var/run/ifd.pid
Oct 20 19:21:18 localhost wait_for_sysfs[3246]: error: wait_for_sysfs needs an update to handle the device '/class/net/sit0' properly, please report to <linux-hotplug-devel@lists.sourceforge.net>
If I knew what to do about it, I would. Thanks for inviting me to
report. Please feel free, however, to ignore this note.
