A rule like
BUS="scsi", SYSFS\{model\}="FLASH", KERNEL="sd?1", NAME="%k", SYMLINK="flash"
works, but a corresponding entry like
flash:root:flash:0660
in a permissions.d file does not -- it tries to change the
permissions of the symlink instead. Permissions on a symlink are
irrelevant, so I suggest that udev instead follows the symlink
before applying permissions.
