Heihei,

I have installed kernel 2.6.10 yesterday on my Slackware-current system on a 
HP OmniBook XE4500 Notebook and I saw this message this morning 
in /var/log/messages:

Dec 26 10:42:01 peluk wait_for_sysfs[3589]: either wait_for_sysfs (udev 042) 
needs an update to handle the device '/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq' 
properly (no bus device link) or the sysfs-support of your device's driver 
needs to be fixed, please report to 
<linux-hotplug-devel@lists.sourceforge.net>

Slackware-current has udev version: 042-i486-1

Please upgrade to a modern release of udev and the message will go away.
