That is already fixed for the next release: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/hotplug/udev.git;a=commitdiff;hw914dfeda9caae155f7dcdbeb06dc8574a6f4ad which I'm just holding back for possible preparations of the new input sysfs layout. 071 should be out during the next few days.
