The main problem seems to be that vol_id does not detect anything about squashfs volumes, no label, no UUID, no filesystem type. The reasons seems to be squashfs itself, as far as I know it does not contain any label or UUID. What would it take to have squashfs extended to support these features? What would I have to tell the squashfs maintainer? regards Hadmut ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
