I'm considering giving the bonding interfaces more
descriptive names to indicate f.ex. which vlans they're
connected to, so I created this simple udev rule:
KERNEL="bond0", NAME="management0"
But, when loading this module, 'dmesg' is reporting:
divert: allocating divert_blk for bond0
and when unloading the module it says:
divert: freeing divert_blk for management0
so something is confused about this name change. This has me a bit
conserned that maybe there is a bug I could hit here if I go
trough with this name change. Any opinions for if this is safe or
not ?
BTW: This is on RHEL4.
