Hi!
The reason I write this time is: I dont understand the current handling of
wireless net devices (I dont own such HW).
1. wifi devices: If I understand correctly they are the physical devices
corresponding to the real HW. And they are excluded from persistent-net. Why?
If I have two wlan HW devices they can swap.
2. wlan/ath devices. They are virtual (or something like that). And I can have
more of them associated to one wifi device. They will then get the same mac -
isnt it brainded then to persist them based on mac - and not based on mac and
relative number or whatever.
Or just disable autocreation of wlan/ath devices and manually create them with
well known name against a persistent wifi device?
Matthias
