Next unresolved issue regarding persistent-net. http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id2742 this rule is created: SUBSYSTEM="net", DRIVERS="?*", ATTRS{address}="00:0c:29:0b:02:d2", NAME="eth0" But it does not work, as there seems no link to driver in sysfs. Is that solvable, or does it only work if vmxnet driver itself gets fixed? That question can also be formulated like this: Can DRIVERS="?*" hack be replaced by something more clear?
