the debian packages are missing the udev rules for them.
and it's quite time to put them in.

mdadm will have them in the forthcoming 2.7.6-2. I used Ubuntu's
rules. Maybe those can serve as a baseline for LVM etc?
(I still maintain that "by-id" does not mean "by-bustype-and-id")

All this makes sense, and it's starting to dawn on me that in fact,
