Udev support under Denx eldk ?

Udev support under Denx eldk ?

Hello, 

My Eldk distribution does not appear to have support for udev built in
(2.6.28.4). I cannot find an option for in anywhere in the Menuconfig
for kernel building options. I have pulled down version 1.41 and can
build udevd for my amcc-460 target, but I don't know what to do with it
from there to integrate it into the kernel boot process. 

Any advice is much appreciated.

I suggest working with your distro to integrate it much like all other
distros have done :)

Good examples you might want to look at would be Ubuntu and Gentoo.
