Yes, well, almost. Here's the relevant parts:
### modules-update: start processing /etc/modules.d/nvidia
# Nvidia drivers support
alias char-major-195 nvidia
alias /dev/nvidiactl char-major-195
# Old nvidia support ...
alias char-major-195 NVdriver
alias /dev/nvidiactl char-major-195
Is the * on char-major-195* important here?
