My usb dsl modem would cold plug and configure juste fine, but cold-plug refuses to work. I saw there still are a lot of FIXME lines in the scripts, and then I wondered -1) how is it possible that coldplug does not work if hotplug does ?? (I guess that setting the $PRODUCT stuff to 0/0/0 does not help cold-pluging) -2) if it is a problem/bug from the scripts how can I help fixing things around ? many thanx in advance for you help/tips/whatever may help me understand the problem. BTW. I'm not desperate as the etc/rc.d scripts handle the modem for now, but still I fell kind of frustrated by this failure. ;o) ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
