this is what kernel says when i bring up isdn interface - ifup isdn0,
this may also be the reason why /dev/ttyI0 works sometimes and most of
time does not. kernel 2.6.9-1.667 (original fedora core 3 kernel).
Nov 23 23:58:30 v8 wait_for_sysfs[8331]: either wait_for_sysfs (udev
039) needs an update to handle the device '/class/net/ippp0' properly
(no device symlink) or the sysfs-support of your device's driver needs
to be fixed, please report to <linux-hotplug-devel@lists.sourceforge.net>

That's already fixed in a later version of udev, not to print this. It
does not have anything to to with the malfunction of your device.
