Everything seemed to work fine. Upon first boot Kudzu noticed the printer and I let it configure it. Everything seemed to work fine until I tried to print. Noting, No printing, No errors dialogs. Upon trying to fix it I noticed that the device /dev/usb/lp0 didn't exist. I tried some other USB devices, a memory card reader and a bar code scanner. Plugging them in caused no changes in the contents of /dev. udev.d is running.
