Thank you for your invitation to report problems., I am trying to mount a SanDisk multi-card reader: ImageMate 8 in 1 model number SDDR - 88 part number: 20-90-00114 It has a USB connection. It is recognized as sdb (per messages below). But I try [root@m60 ~]# mount -t vfat -o exec -o rw -o suid -o user -o uid=andy -o gid=andy -o umask00 -o dmask00 /dev/sdb /mnt/usbstick which returns mount: special device /dev/sdb does not exist Do you have any ideas? I do of course have a win machine on the network and can mount it there, but I would like to experience every opportunity to nuke windows...
