Subject: Unwanted devices in udev?
Date: Mon, 24 Oct 2005 03:34:15 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <435C5637.9000606@ukonline.co.uk> (raw)

Hey, just a quick qustion. I'm using Kanotix 2005-04 RC12, which is a
Debian based distro with the newst version of udev preinstalled. But
what I want to know is, where exactly dose the udev entry called
settings:/ point to in KDE on my computer? There are too few options
there for my liking - and I would like to know how to add more?

Also how do I prevent unwanted devices (such as swap and possibly /boot)
from being loaded in media:/? It really bugs me (and is a potential
security risk) to have devices mounted that I don't need.

Any advice would be welcome.

Best regards,

GJ
