Hello,
as I see, the udevinitsend program has been removed from udev-074. Does
this mean that the "store hotplug events in initramfs, replay them after
mountng root" approach has been officially dropped? If so, why is
udeveventrecorder still alive?

Yes, we did it for the last few releases in SUSE, but have replaced it
with the much nicer kernel "uevent" triggers now. It was working fine,
but it's not needed anymore. It's still in the archives if someone want's
to do it that way, which I don't recommend and therefore don't want to
keep it in the current tree.

Cause I wanted to keep something to log the events for debugging.
But sure, it should go and be replaced by a simple shell script.
Thanks,
Kay
