Looking at dmesg I found this: : Vendor: USB2.0 Model: CardReader CF RW Rev: 0.0> Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 00 sd 2:0:0:0: Attached scsi removable disk sdb Vendor: USB2.0 Model: CardReader Combo Rev: 0.0> Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 00 sd 2:0:0:1: Attached scsi removable disk sdc usb-storage: device scan complete : i.e. the card reader is recognized. If I boot with an SD card inserted, then I can mount it as expected, but actually this procedure is pretty painfull. The question is: Is udev supposed to recognize an inserted SD card? kernel is 2.6.16.5, amd64. Udev is 0.089 (debian). Many thanx in advance Harri --------------enigBBDA641BDB2AE1394417572D Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFERVYPUTlbRTxpHjcRAoqGAJ9grURj97LpH5dywMwqOY1OSLRxRQCeKZhu WMzCTxAYvsJKTkl8dLhXHtE= =DjnD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enigBBDA641BDB2AE1394417572D-- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
