Subject: /sys/class/firmware/0000:03:03.0 missing
Date: Mon, 16 Oct 2006 01:55:53 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <4532E6A9.9020509@mokfam.com> (raw)

I've recently upgraded from Slackware 10.1 to 11 and upon bootup I
receive the following message:

/etc/rc.d/rc.M: line 93:
/dev/.udev/failed/class@firmware@0000:03:03.0/uevent: No such file or
directory

Looks like class@firmware@0000:03:03.0 is actually a link, dead one, in
/dev/.udev/failed/ pointing to /sys/class/firmware/0000:03:03.0 since
there is no 0000:03:03.0 in /sys/class/firmware/

Everything seems to be working fine besides this message, however it is
somewhat annoying, considering I have no idea why this is popping up.
Any information on this would be appreciated.
