Hi Steven
I'd like to use your pthread autoconf macro in udev, which is a GPL2
project. I'm fuzzy on the licensing though - GPL3 with the "autoconf
exception". I'm not doing anything odd, just adding a copy of your
macro file and referencing it from configure.ac. Can you confirm that's
ok for distribution?
The "autoconf exception" says it's fine to distribute the auto-generated
configure script. And I assume it's alright to distribute
"acx_pthread.m4" alongside udev, as an aggregate. So all I'm missing is
what happens to configure.ac when I use the pthread macro in it.
Thanks for your time
Alan
