The easy answer is that this manpage doesn't have an example-section yet. I don't think adding that rule on it's own would help. For one, it begs an explanation of what set the by-id SYMLINK in the first place. I will have a look at the lonely docs/writing_udev_files. Maybe it could fit in there. Thanks Alan
