Message-ID: <4AB829BC.7090002@openelec.tv> (raw)

Hi all,

since i have updated udev from udev-136 to udev-146 i have follow
errormessages when udev starts:

udevd[146]: specified group 'xxx' unknown
this are for groups tty, dialout, kmem, video, lp, disk, floppy, cdrom,
tape and some times

i have installed udev on my self created distro, without any patches.

i do udev start with:

   export UDEV_MAX_CHILDS=2
   export UDEV_MAX_CHILDS_RUNNING=2

   echo > /proc/sys/kernel/hotplug

   udevd --daemon
   udevadm trigger
   udevadm settle --timeout` > /dev/null 2>&1
   udevadm monitor 2>&1 >/var/log/udev &

what is meant with this messages and how can i fix this?

Stephan
