Hello,

I use udev on my debian system with a 2.6.3-rc2 kernel.

in the udev.permissions.debian, there is a problem with ptmx :
- at the begining of the file we have : ptmx:root:tty:0666
- at the end of the file we have : pt*:root:tape:0660

So when I boot the ptmx group is tape and not tty, I comment the last
line to let it work.

I completely replace /dev on my system by udev in an tmpfs do to my
read-only root partition.

Attached is my /etc/init.d/udev.debian modified file if someone is
interessted with some comments on the settings.

PS: Cc me since I'm not subscribed to the list.
