Subject: canonical module name?
Date: Wed, 31 Mar 2004 16:25:34 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <87ptatc7b5.wl@ukai.org> (raw)
Hi,
I've got bug report http://bugs.debian.org/241218
Bug#241218: hotplug: can not load any module with a - in the name
As this bug report, alsa drivers use two module names:
one is snd_* (in lsmod output) and other is snd-* (modules.pcimap).
So, load_drivers will find snd-*, but it try to check with snd_*.
Is it ok to substitute - to _ when comparing with output of lsmod, as
described in this bug report?
Regards,
Fumitoshi UKAI
