About half an hour later (no sure of exact time) the variable is reset back to the permissions the driver created it with. Is udevd doing this? Can udev control sysfs permissions (I though it only controlled the device permissions). If not udev, who is changing the permissions back? --=20 Jon Smirl jonsmirl@gmail.com ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by Oracle Space Sweepstakes Want to be the first software developer in space?
