Hello experts
I am running RHEL 4 (kernel 2.6.9) and am working with a usblan device (
drivers from belcarra) . this device presents the device as both a usb
device and a network device ( usb0) .
I have updated the usb.usermap to trigger on a particular vendor . So
for this device i get the usb device notification and i pass the sysfs
name to my application . However i want to be able to map ( co-relate)
this usb device to the network device (usb0) .
From a device standpoint , there should be some information for both
devices that converge at some point . As for eg
DEVICE
| |
| |
usb0
/../../../devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:07.2/usb1/1-0:1.0
I am able to get the notification for
../../../devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:07.2/usb1/1-0:1.0
However I want to know if there is any mechanism ( IOCTL , etc ) to get
to DEVICE .
Help is appreciated
