It looks nice, it's very similar to the script we wrote in Mandriva,
excepted it uses an interface pattern whitelist.
The SYSFS{type}="1" trick is quite interesting.

Too bad the "all_interfaces" option obliges to duplicate the interface
pattern (eth*|ath*|wlan*|ra*|sta*)

BTW, shouldn't tr* interfaces be handled by this script as well?
