Input system hotplugging will finish someday ... those tweaks should
not be needed forever :)

I'd rather have that be specific to gPhoto2. Best not to have gPhoto2
take over such responsibilities for other programs, that'd just shift
all the problems into gPhoto2.

Only for devices that aren't already handled by the kernel.
