Hello,

In 7.1 the kernel pcmcia source tree in
/usr/src/linux-2.4/drivers/pcmcia has cb_enabler.c file and the Makefile

also contains the rule to build it.
But in 7.3 and 8.0 the kernel pcmcia source tree in
/usr/src/linux-2.4/drivers/pcmcia does not have cb_enabler.c file and
the makefile aslo does not contain any rule to build it.
But our madge driver is calling register_driver(0 and
unregister_driver()function for registration and unregistration of
client driver.
But since the file is not there in 7.3 amd 8.0 our driver is giving
unresolved symbol.

I came to know that cb_enabler interface is no longer supported. The
newer way to
write CardBus drivers is to use the hot plug PCI calls.

Can anyone please suggest a way of porting the cardbus driver from RH
Linux 7.2 to 8.0 ?
Some useful links in this regard will be appreciable.

Regards
Anil
