Hi,
I have my Zaurus PDA connected via usb with my debian box (kernel
2.4.21)
When I connect the PDA the first time hotplug loads the driver and calls
my script /etc/hotplug.usb/usbnet to configure the usb link.
Everything is OK.
If I detach the PDA, when I reconnect it hotplug starts and suddenly I
get a kernel panic and I have to reboot.
Any ideas?

Why not configure the network interface usb0 in /etc/network/interfaces?
Jörg.
end.

I do that, but I also need a script to setup iptables rules...
But that's not the point.
Kernel panics everytime the PDA is hotplugged a second time.
I would like to get some help on this issue.

Try the latest kernel version. If that still has problems, please post
the decoded oops (run it through ksymoops) to the linux-usb-devel
mailing list which is the proper place for stuff like this.
thanks,
