Subject: udev - namedev configuration.

Message-ID: <marc-linux-hotplug-107146403123704@msgid-missing> (raw)

Ive probably missed something with the rapid evolution of udev, but
Im having a problem with the udev-008 that I just installed.

I have the configuration line:

    # USB Disk.
    LABEL, BUS="usb", vendor="IC25N020", NAME="usb_disk"

in namedev.config. The disk in question has 4 partitions on it.

I used to see usb_disk or usb_disk1, but now Im only seeing

    sda
    sda1
    sda2
    sda3
    sda4

So its recognizing the disk and its partitions, but is not using the name
on the LABEL card.

What am I doing wrong?
I would expect
    usb_disk
    usb_disk1
    ...
    usb_disk4
