Message-Id: List-Id: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit To: linux-hotplug@vger.kernel.org I just noticed a strange thing on a new install of RH7 with 2.4.1 and hotplugging. Basically, if you don't comment out the way that /etc/rc.sysinit modprobes host controllers while the root filesystem is mounted readonly, you end up loading most every USB module! The workaround is simple. I can think of several fixes, assuming it's triggered by something Adam Richter once mentioned: bash uses tempfiles to run those scripts. - Dave _______________________________________________ Linux-hotplug-devel mailing list http://linux-hotplug.sourceforge.net Linux-hotplug-devel@lists.sourceforge.net http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-hotplug-devel
