I never got around to fully implementing it, because there are really
quite few situations where it is needed. There is a PCMCIA card
reader that connects to a parallel port, where every card access has
to be virtualized. But it is overkill for bridges with different
sorts of memory windowing. There are already Linux socket drivers for
Motorola mpc8xx, Hitachi SuperH, and StrongARM processors that look
nothing like an i82365.
