Cool! I'd like to see versions of this on the linux-hotplug site.

Looks like something (that archive service?) garbaged the patch.
Sorry -- now I know! Thomas Sailer (usbutils maintainer)
reported the same problem.
Here's a bz2 version of that same usbutils patch, which should
not have the same problem.
